On Friday 2 December, selected Joondalup Primary School students from Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 had an excursion to the Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre. The students performed an Indonesian bamboo dance and a plate dance. They played angklung and sang an Indonesian Christmas carol. The songs they played were Joy to the World, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Silent Night on the angklung. Mason, Kobi, Zane and Cody performed an Indonesian bamboo dance. Alice, Kyra, Maddie, Izzy, Milly and Taylor performed an Indonesian plate dance. The students also sang We Wish You Merry Christmas - Selamat Hari Natal in Indonesian. We would like to thank Mrs Tri O’Neil who helped us prepare for the excursion. Well done to the students who took part in the excursion. The audience was mesmerised by your performance.
