Colour Wheel Trees
The students in Year 5 revised the colour wheel. A tree trunk and branches were drawn and coloured in felt pen. The foliage was added in acrylic paint. The primary colours were painted first and then used to mix the secondary colours.

Cats
The Year 2 students listened to the story of "Cat and Fish go to see" by Joan Grant while viewing the great artwork by illustrator Neil Curtis. The illustrator has used the principle of contrast, with black and white pictures throughout the book. The students created their own collage cats in newspaper and felt pen.

Collage
The students in Room 31 worked with the element of shape to create a picture. After all the shapes were pasted on, they selected from a wide variety of materials to add to their work. It was then given a title.

Emotion
The students in Years 3 & 5 explored the element of line and emotion. They drew a face to show emotion and added crazy hair with ink.

Abstract
The Pre-Primary students created a colour wheel in acrylic paint. The primary colours were painted first and then used to mix the secondary colours. They then worked with the element of line to create an abstract.
