Fish

​After viewing creatures that live deep in the ocean the students in Year 5 created these great fish. They were drawn in pencil, coloured with oil pastel, which was blended with baby oil and then sprayed with yellow and blue dye.

Jellyfish

The students in Year 3 created jellyfish swimming in the ocean.  They drew stencils for the bodies, lightly stuck these on with sticky tape and added tentacles with white wax crayon. The page was then sprayed with dye to create cool colours. After removing the jellyfish bodies, the students worked with soft pastel and the element of value to colour the jellyfish in warm colours.
