The results are in from the Faction Cross Country Carnival held at Winderemere Oval on Thursday 30^th May. Since the beginning of Term 2 the students have been training for the event during Physical Education classes.

The day started at 9:15am with the Pre-Primary’s completing a 640m course and ended with the Year 6’s finishing a 2250m track.

Thank you to all the staff that helped the day run smoothly and to all the students for their inspiring efforts at training, Physical Education class and at the event. A big thank you to the parents who came down and supported the school and the students. It was great to see a consistent amount of supporters for the event throughout the entire day.

If you or your child enjoyed Cross Country a reminder that we still have Running Club happening this term on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 8:15am-8:40am on the school oval for Year 3-6 students.

Now for the results. Every runner received a point and the1st place runner got 10 points for their faction 2nd 6 points, 3rd 4 points and 4th 2 points for their faction.

1st place Red with 192 points
2nd place Blue with 158 points
3rd place Gold with 140 points
4th place Green with 125 points
