Last Thursday 22 August, our Joondalup Primary School Choir participated in the One Big Voice (OBV) festival at RAC Arena, joining over 7,500 other primary school students from across Western Australia. OBV is Australia’s largest children’s choir event, where students from Years 3 to 7 perform in a celebration of the power of song. Our choir performed a selection of songs with choreography in two-part harmony, demonstrating fantastic effort and enthusiasm throughout the event.

A special acknowledgment goes to our Year 4 student Charlee from Room 6 , who had the opportunity to perform on centre stage as part of a small vocal group for the song Storming. Well done to Charlee for his confidence and commitment!

I would also like to extend my gratitude to all the parents for their ongoing support, especially for bringing students to extra rehearsals in the lead-up to the concert. Your support in your children's musical education is greatly appreciated.
