Sport with Mr Morrey

Faction Cross Country 3 May

Recently students competed in the Faction Cross Country event. Great effort was displayed on the day and in preparation for this. It was excellent to see the students putting in extra training to improve their results from the previous year.

Blue faction was victorious by a very slim margin and this was only decided in the final Pre-Primary race.

Winter Lightning Carnival

The Year 5 and 6 students currently have trials to make the interschool teams in soccer, AFL, league tag rugby and netball. This year we are in a new school cluster and will be versing 9 other schools in the area on Monday 24 June (Week 11). Information for permission and payment will be sent to all Year 6 and selected Year 5 students via Compass very soon.

State School Boys (Hockey)

In exciting news, Jaxon Robertson from Year 6 has been chosen to represent the Western Australia school boys in the national Hockey competition. Jaxon has spent many early mornings and afternoons training to get to where he is today. We are all so proud of such an amazing achievement by Jaxon, who shows dedication and commitment to his craft and we wish him all the best when he competes in Cairns.
